Ploof has been working as a firefighter/EMT since 2001 and is now the Lt. of Ladder Co. 2 in the Old North End of Burlington. Capt. Genzlinger has been serving South Burlington as a firefighter/EMT since the late 1990s and is currently assigned as a shift supervisor.
