These tips are the culmination of the trials and tribulations of the job as learned by some of our most senior members. Lt. Ploof has been working as a firefighter/EMT since 2001 and is now the Lt. of Ladder Co. 2 in the Old North End of Burlington. Capt. Genzlinger has been serving South Burlington as a firefighter/EMT since the late 1990s and is currently assigned as a shift supervisor.
